George, Harbour also cast in adaptation of off-Broadway play

Julia Stiles, Taye Diggs, Melissa George and David Harbour have been cast in Dan Mirvish’s feature adaptation of off-Broadway play “Between Us.”

Comedy ensembler tells the story of two couples who meet up again as old friends and discover their lives have drastically changed since the last time they saw each other. Mirvish, along with playwright Joe Hortua, penned the script.

“We’re all very excited to bring this exceptional play to the big screen,” Mirvish said.

“Between Us” was first commissioned as a play by South Coast Repertory Theater and preemed at Gotham’s Manhattan Theater Club in 2004.

In addition to Mirvish and Hortua, the feature project is produced by Hans Ritter, Barry Hennessey and Dana Altman. Production is set to begin in May.
